As a municipal planner, Brad has held numerous positions providing expertise in project entitlement, CEQA compliance, long-range policy development, and department leadership and administration. As a consultant, He has served established and newly incorporated municipalities as both contract staff and contract Interim Director, as well as providing contract project management of complex development projects, policy development and updating, and departmental change management. And as a real estate development project manager, Mr. Evanson gained crucial familiarity with the applicant's side of the process, enabling the ability to effectively bridge the gap between the goals of a project proponent and the requirements of a responsible municipal agency.

In addition to the deep experience gained from the different roles Brad has held, the locations and environments that he has worked in have honed a flexibility and adaptability that enables Evanson Associates to perform at a high level regardless of the environment and challenges surrounding an assignment. Mr. Evanson started his career in Southern California, including permanent positions in Imperial and Orange Counties, and contract roles in San Diego, Orange County, the greater Los Angeles region, and the Inland Empire. He has also had consulting roles in California's Central Valley, Central Coast, and several locations in and around the San Francisco Bay Area.
